MYX VJ Search Finals

On it's fifth year of searching for deserving music ambassadors, MYX, the number one music channel, is having it's MYX VJ Search once more. This time there are 12 finalists from all over the country competing to be the next MYX VJ.

The finalist are...

Beauty queen Angelia, voted as the year's Face of Bb. Pilipinas, also hosts a travel show in her province,  displays her wacky and fun side as she tries to become the next MYX VJ.

Aspiring actress Camille, an avid Air Supply fan, who appeared in commercials and TV dramas, web shows, and in an indie film. Could she be the next MYX VJ?

Sexy Cara appeared in a number of music videos, a former talent of TV5. she's all set to pursue her dream of being the next MYX VJ.

A music production student and a radio jock, Chewy tries his luck to be the ambassador MYX is looking for.

Remember the Nokia phone ad? This Filipino-American hearthrob is on his way to being a star. Can Drew be the one? He is also an English teacher and basketball player.

Earl may be a theater geek but admits he is also a K-pop fan. Will he win the hearts of the MYX viewers?

Funny guy JJ is a former student radio DJ who’s ready to take on the MYX VJ post. This college sophomore from Ateneo will definitely add some excitement to this year’s search.

This Filipino-Canadian RnB sweetheart K-La is no stranger to us. She has competed on national tv to be the next singing sensation. She is determined to show that there is more to her than an angelic voice and a pretty face.

Marga is a club DJ who’s all set to dish out more tunes as a MYX VJ this time. The Advertising major—who enjoys football and longboarding—is ready to pump up the energy with her funky groove.

A self-confessed Katy Pery fan, Martin is out to come after his teenage dream. Will his boy-next-door image bring him closer to his dream?

Being the captain of the De La Salle University swim team, this 6'1" hottie Mike tries his luck in television hosting as the next MYX VJ.

The votes are in. Who will be the next MYX VJ?

Finals night was held at SM The Block Atrium on July 27th. Fans gathered to cheer on their favorite to win the competition. The event was hosted by MYX VJs, Chino Lui Pio, Bianca Roque, Janine Ramirez, and Robin Nievera, who was one of the winners from last year's competition.

The MYX VJ Search Finalist did a mini-fashion show with SM Accessories as their sponsor. And they also showed off their dancing skills in a special number.

Maldita, Someday Dream, and Kean Cipriano performed during the event.

Special awards was given by SM Accessories to Joyce and Drew.

While Coca-cola named the "Happiness VJ" to Cara and Drew.

The night ended on a high note as K-La, Mike, and Joyce were named the newest members to join the MYX family.
